* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or Materials Engineering
* 3+ years of experience working to MIL-STD-11991 requirements and developing non-standard part approval requests (NSPARs) for Department of Defense organizations
* Demonstrate prior experience interpreting manufacturer datasheets, source control drawings, and Bills of Material
* Exhibit a strong understanding of active and passive electronic piece parts
* Apply knowledge of electronic device manufacture and operation
* 2 - 4 years of experience with Power Electronics
* 2 - 4 years of experience writing technical documents and end-user documentation
* 2 - 4 years of experience with Circuit Design
* 2 - 4 years of experience performing Electronic Component Testing
* 2 - 4 years of experience with Electronic Device Physics
* 2 - 4 years of experience with Semiconductor Manufacturing
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with Destructive Physical Analysis
* Knowledge of Particle Impact Noise Detection Testing
* Understanding of MIL-STD-883 test methods Job Duties & Functions
* Review aerospace hardware designs and evaluate compliance with military specifications, including MIL-STD-11991
* Assess electrical and electronic equipment designs, including piece parts, circuit card assemblies, wires and harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies
* Develop non-standard part approval requests (NSPARs) for Department of Defense organizations
* Interpret manufacturer datasheets, source control drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs)
* Participate in resolving issues involving conflicting design requirements, unsuitable standard materials, and difficult coordination requirements
* Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, design, test, and integration activities to assure product and component quality
* Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records
* Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze data and evaluate component acceptability
* Support the end-to-end process of capturing, designing, developing, testing, manufacturing, and life-cycle support of electronic systems
* Manage detailed part-level obsolescence activities, including monitoring BOMs, resolving issues, scheduling implementation of fixes, identifying new sources, and preventing production line stoppages
* Coordinate with design engineers, vendors, and other functional areas to support program objectives
* Enforce PMPCP compliance requirements
